"Convert this Excel file to PDF"Frequently Asked Questions
What happens to formulas?
The calculated values appear in the PDF as static numbers. Since PDF is a fixed-layout format, the underlying formulas aren't preserved — but the data they produced is.
How are multiple worksheets handled?
Each worksheet gets its own section in the PDF. Wide sheets that exceed standard page width are automatically split across multiple pages so nothing gets cut off.
Does the formatting carry over?
Cell background colors, borders, font styles, merged cells, text alignment, and conditional formatting are all reproduced. The PDF looks like what you'd see if you printed from Excel.
Are old .xls files supported?
Both .xls (Excel 97-2003) and .xlsx (modern Excel) are accepted. LibreOffice Calc .ods files work too.
Do charts show up in the PDF?
Charts, sparklines, and embedded images from your spreadsheet are rendered in the output. Pivot tables appear as their currently displayed values and layout.
Do I need Excel installed?
No. DocuHub converts the file server-side — you don't need Excel, LibreOffice, or any spreadsheet app on your device. There are no hidden fees or subscriptions.
